Order a New South Africa Travel Card
In order to prebuy South African Rand to be loaded onto a ZAR Travel Card you will need to be a registered client of Exchange4free.
Our online system is very simple to follow and clients just need to complete the wizard once logged in:
- Register with Exchange4free
- Login using your Member ID and Password
- Choose the option to 'Buy a Prepaid ZAR Travel Card'
- Choose the country from where you would like to convert foreign currency to ZAR
- Fill in the details of your SA trip and how you would like your card to be delivered or picked up
- Type in the foreign currency amount you would like converted to ZAR
- The system will quote you a live exchange rate and show your total ZAR amount
- Complete the remaining steps
Once your ZAR Travel Card has been booked you will need to deposit the relevant foreign currency amount into the bank account provided in the online wizard. These details will also be emailed to you.
As soon as we receive your funds they will be converted to ZAR at the agreed online rate and credited onto your ZAR Travel Card.
The card will then be delivered to your chosen address or can be picked up at any South African international airport.
In order to start using your Prepaid ZAR Card you would need to do the following:
- Receive your card from Exchange4free
- You will sign a declaration document to state that you have received and accepted the Terms and Conditions for the card
- Activate your card by calling our call centre on 0861113673, entering your card number, answering a few simple security questions and choosing your PIN. Keep this safe!
- Keep your PIN and card secure
- Sign your card
- Start transacting on your new prepaid card whilst staying aware of your balance
- Always ensure that there is enough money on your card to cover unforeseen emergencies and fees
- Follow the security advice which we will give you in your welcome pack
